A 4:15 p.m. parade will kick-off Halloween events planned for Wednesday, Oct. 31 in downtown Ogallala. Kids start lining up, according to their grade, on West 6th Street, between West A Street and North Spruce Street. Line-up for the parade will be at 4 p.m. The parade will lead down Spruce to Hwy. 30 for all kids, and kids at heart, who are dressing up for Halloween.
Trick-or-Treat Street at participating merchants will then take place, with merchants providing candy, and the Chamber of Commerce providing glow sticks for participants.
Merchants who want to take part in the day are asked to have candy or toys for between 300 to 350 children.
Also during the day will be a Trick-or-Treating at Indian Hills Manor from 4-6 p.m.
