Event Description:
The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission will be hosting a “Turkey Celebration” on November 19th from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at the Lake McConaughy Visitor/Water Interpretive Center.  Everyone is invited to join the park naturalist for an afternoon of turkey talk! We will be discussing facts about wild turkeys, the history of domestication, and their importance. During the talk, we will be crafting turkey shirts!  Bring a plain shirt; all other supplies will be provided, free of charge.  Please email Alison Bleich at alison.bleich@nebraska.gov or call 308-284-0855, to register for this event.
